I am a fine artist and illustrator born in Holland but a bit of a wanderer longing for home. I have a rich background working as a tattoo artist and belly dance teacher and have lived and worked in many different places around the world before settling in Ireland. Coming home and finding a soft place to rest is a recurring theme in my art.
I love infusing my work with a dreamy, fairytale vibe and draw my inspiration from motherhood, the strength and resilience of women and the enchanting nature of Ireland with its ancient lore woven into the earth of this magical island. If you take your time to pause and listen, with your bare feet in the mud and your face turned into the wind, you will hear the whispering stories of the past and you might feel that you too have come home to a safe place in your heart.
